Special Training Requirements for Remote Adjudication

To participate in remote adjudication, as either adjudicators or auditors, consular officers and CA headquarters personnel must have:
(1) Specialized remote adjudication training within the last year provided by Passport Services' Office of Program Management and Operational Support, Career Management Division (CA/PPT/S/PMO/CM); and
(2) Successfully adjudicated passport applications as a primary job function, e.g., as a passport specialist, passport supervisor, or adjudication manager; or
(3) Successfully performed remote adjudication; or
(4) Successfully completed one of the following training courses:
(a) CA/PPT's National Training Program (PC562);
(b) Orientation to Passport Adjudication for Non-passport specialists (OPAN); or
(c) The Basic Consular Course (PC530).
