a. The general policy regarding training of Locally Employed Staff (LE Staff) can be found in 3 FAM 7631. Nothing in this section negates the authority of the heads of establishments abroad to determine and provide appropriate training for LE Staff working at post. Nothing in this section shall have the effect of superseding applicable local labor laws.
b. General information on FSI training for LE Staff is located on the LE Staff Training and Development site. See 13 FAH-1 H-500 for procedural information on LE Staff training programs offered by and through FSI.
